He Can Do It

Aiden finally figured out how to pedal by himself!

First Time Out

Took it out for the first time.

Aiden LOVED all the pathways!

It was around 53 degrees and rainy that day which is not so typical for the middle of June. It was sure nice to jump in the warm motorhome after we cooked our smores!

It Fits!

It took some minor house gutter adjustments but I got it to fit between our neighbors retaining wall and our house. There's maybe even an inch to spare on either side! To bad the neighbor laughs at me everytime I climb in and out of the drivers window because I can't open the door to get in. Actually...I can open the door enough to stick my arm in to roll down the window and then I climb in.

Found One!

So it's a little bigger than I thought. 27' 1988 EMC Mirada with a Ford 460 7.5L engine. It was even 5 dollars under budget at $4995!


So far I've had to replace the fresh water pump, gray water waste valve, stereo, a couple fuses and patch a hole in the gray water tank. I wish I had the time to describe each scenario because they're all entertaining stories. Just imagine me trying to change the waste valve in our driveway and you could probably tell the rest of the story from there.


At first I was sick to my stomach about the purchase but the more I work on it the more it grows on me. Even the 1980's mauve interior!
