Temple Square Lights

2nd annual Christmas hotel night stay in Salt Lake City! This time Shelly and her boyfriend Mike joined us (in their own hotel room). The Radission was within easy walking distance from Temple square and The Gateway mall. It was perfect.

Had to make sure I got at least one picture of me.

Aiden serving 3 minutes of time out before eating dinner at California Pizza in the Gateway mall.
He put the hat over his face on his own.

Macie enjoying her sucker from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Aiden yelling at me because I took his picture. Normally disciplinary action would have taken place but I had to watch myself on Temple grounds so instead I decided to do the mature thing and take more pictures of him!

Ended our night with swimming back at the hotel and then called it a night. Thank you Mom for helping make it happen this year. It was awesome!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Aiden is thankful for helping Dad fix things, working on Mom's car and eating Christmas candy. Aiden also spoke for Macie by saying she's thankful for chocolate.

Snow Play

Poor Macie didn't have any boots or snow gloves but was desperate to play outside with Aiden. We put her tennis shoes on and some mittens so she could at least play a little while Amie went to the store and got her some snow gear.

Moab

Went to our friend's wedding at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, UT for the weekend. I can't believe I've never been to Moab until now?! What was I thinking? It was amazing! The lodge/ranch was about 20 miles Northeast of downtown Moab.

Ate lunch at Eddie McStiff's before we checked in.

Made a pit stop at a Fossil shop. Macie only broke one fossil! Aiden and Macie LOVED all the dinosaur bones!

Arches National Park holy cow! So much to see with so little time. Hopefully we'll soon be making a second trip to spend a lot more time there.

Quickly gave up trying to see everything and stuck with The Windows section of the park until sunset. Both kids hiked all over the place!

That's Mom and Macie off in the distance.

The next day we found a little beach next to the Colorado River to play on.

Hung out on the lodge property before the wedding. We headed home after the wedding and that's a wrap. I'm already planning our next trip to Moab!

Rebel XTi Hard At Work!

These were all taken from our hotel patio in Moab, UT. This one was before the moon came out.

Bugged me when I saw the moon because I mostly wanted pictures of the stars...Until I realized how awesome the red rock cliffs looked with moon light shinning on them!

It almost looks daylight but it's actually around midnight.
