Tomato Plant Fail

Decided to pull our two massive tomato plants after months of them growing rotten green tomatoes. I'd much rather buy a tomato from the store over growing a massive rotten tomato growing plant...yes, I realize it was likely operator error.

Willard Bay

Attempted camping at Willard Bay. I got back from a 3 day Pep Boys trip at 1am Saturday and had to be at work the same morning at 6am. We left for camping at 3pm and I started whining around 5pm how I just wanted to go home and watch tv. By 9:22pm the family let me have my way and we drove home! What a great camping trip!

It Has Arrived

Finally got the new camera today! It's alright. Canon changed a few minor things that I'll have to get used to.


The "miniature" (wannabe tilt-shift) mode is kinda different.

Oh Oh Oh Oh My Gosh

There's a small chance it could have been fixed. But what's the fun in that?!

Archery World Cup

I had no idea there was a world cup for archery?!


Kinda cool to walk around and see teams from different countries hanging out in Ogden, UT. I wanted to take pictures with them so bad but figured it would have been crossing the line just a little.



Aiden got to try it out and even got a bulls eye! The guy asked him if he'd ever done it before and Aiden said "No, but I've seen super hero's use them on TV!"

Birthday Party #3

Final mini party on her Actual birthday! She opened a few more presents, we sang her happy birthday one more time using left over cake from Chuck E Cheese's and after that we went to see Despicable Me upon her request. Happy 3rd birthday Macie!

Birthday Party #2

The point and shoot canon broke yesterday. Kinda sad like I was attached to the thing. Camera's seem to take our family's abuse for about 2 years before finally kicking the bucket. Luckily Shelly let us use her camera for Chuck E Cheese's.

National Night Out

South Ogden City's finest out in force to spread the word on safety! The kids started out in the smoke house with a firefighter explaining what to do during a fire.


Of course we couldn't pass up face painting.


Fire chief only explained why they let air out of the tires (stabilize the car) and then 5 guys started cutting it apart. I imagined it would have been a little louder with everyone barking commands but it was more of a silent calm process.


15 minutes later it looks like an open sardine can. Pretty funny how the fire fighters basically turned off the generators and walked away without saying anything. Everyone watching just sat there for a minute wondering if they were done or not.

Funny how he either hates his picture getting taken or really loves it. It's black & white with a little blue because I was messing with the color selection setting. I took maybe 15 pictures and he posed a different way in every one!
