Santa Claus

Went back to Christmas Village so the kids could visit Santa Claus. Macie asked for a nutcracker and Aiden asked for the toy pterodactyl that makes noise when you press his tongue. After visiting Santa we walked around the village and looked at all the mini buildings and lights.

The Nutcracker

Amie, Macie, Shelly, Grandma Debbie and Grandma Roblyer all went to The Nutcracker at Peery's Egyptian Theater while Uncle Mark watched Aiden and I was out of town for work. Macie LOVED it! She's very excited to ask Santa for her own nutcracker.

Nana and Amie headed to Target for black Friday shopping at 4am. Later that morning Nana and the kids made caramel corn that was gone by the end of the day!

Put up the tree and decorated for Christmas.

Ended the night in Salt Lake City with a visit to Gateway Mall and the Temple Square lights.

Vacation Day 3

Nana put us to work painting the hallway. Seemed easy enough until I realized what a pain it was to paint doors and doorways...There were six doors and seven doorways!

The kids loved making things in their easy bake oven.

Vacation Day 1 & 2

Nana came out to visit for the week! I decided we'd start our vacation with a six hour drive to Hoover Dam with a pit stop in Vegas

Stayed at New York New York Hotel Casino, visited M&M World, walked the busy Vegas strip, played expensive games at Gameworks and used my $50 gift card for an amazing dinner at Hard Rock Cafe... Nana went with the $45 Filet mignon and I stuck to a $12 chicken sandwich.

The next morning we were set for Hoover Dam until Amie texted me how a massive winter storm was set to hit Salt Lake late afternoon. I decided to skip Hoover Dam and we headed home after breakfast. We hit the "massive" snow storm 15 minutes away from home and it had passed over by the time we arrived.

Disney On Ice

And...Amie won four tickets to Disney On Ice from a radio station! Both kids weren't too impressed by the show and Aiden wanted to go home within the first 10 minutes. As bored as they were I'm sure glad we didn't have to pay the $150 for all of us to go!

Hole in Grandma's House

Not exactly sure how it happened but more or less a teenager lost control of her car and drove it into Grandma Debie's house!
