New Camera!

Bought a used Canon Rebel XTi off eBay! Amie tried it out by taking this picture of me. I think it's obvious how excited I am!

YouTube

I also FINALLY jumped on the YouTube bandwagon. Videos posted to blogger are horrible quality so I setup a private YouTube channel for the Ogden Dalton's. You can watch a good quality 5 minute video of the kids and I making cookies by clicking this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoNJLieeWJ4

Halloween Cookies

We only bake six cookies at a time and leave the remaining dough and white frosting in the fridge for another day. We throw a few in the oven every few days and the kids get to pick some new colors to dye the frosting and BAM..we have an ongoing smooth operating Halloween cookie making project!

Reality

The last post made us look like a cheesy tv family from the 1990's. This post is a little more realistic!

Picking Pumpkins

Went to a farm and picked our pumpkins to carve for halloween!

Good With The Bad

Luckily I brought my film camera to our family picture event and was able to get some good shots of the kids. I used kodak grade 4 paper, aperture set at 5.6 and exposed it for 35 seconds. It's still not perfect but it'll do until I get more time in the darkroom. I just want to photoshop it so bad!

Family Picture 1st Attempt

Aiden was not in a good mood at all! This was the best picture we got. We'll try again soon. Thank's for putting up with us Shelly!

Park City

Stayed in Park City for the night. We had concert tickets to see Pitbull and thought we might as well make a date out of it. Our hotel ended up being a condo on the top floor facing Main St. with a full kitchen and everything! Ate dinner at The Eating Establishment (lame name, excellent food!), Chocolate covered apples at the Rocky Mtn. Chocolate Factory and finally the Pitbull concert at Harry O's. Thank you thank you to Aunt Denise and Uncle Mark for babysitting!!

Stereotypies

Macie does it because she gets nervous and that's how she comforts herself. Doctor said it's a form of Stereotypies and she'll eventually grow out of it when she learns how to handle anxiety better. Definitely an Amie Jr.! Reminds me of a story I heard about Amie pulling all her hair off her head when she was two years old!
