Picnic at Pineview Reservoir. Aiden took his pants off and was in the water within a minute. Macie was soon to follow.

Darkroom

Finally had time to process some pictures I took in Vegas. I'm so used to digital that forgot to write down the settings on my camera when I took this picture. I do know the negative was way under exposed. I had to set the enlarger aperture to 3.5, didn't use any filter and exposed the kodak multi-grade paper for 90 freakin seconds! It's no Ansel Adams but it's still fun.

Brain Scan Complete

Doctor ordered an EEG scan to look for signs of seizures. As expected, test results were normal. Next stop is the neurologist on Oct. 1st.

Mini golf at Fat Cats in Ogden is lame. We decided it was more productive to pose next to the pictures painted on the walls!

Palsy?

She's done this since she was a baby and it seems to be getting worse. She does it really bad when she seems 'concerned' about something. Amie's done some internet homework and think it might be spastic cerebral palsy so we're on the hunt for a doctor that will give us some magic answers and most likely no solution. Actually, a doctor's more like, "I'm not sure what's wrong with her...let me write a prescription for ritalin and come back to see me a month from now at which point we'll try another drug"....I hate doctors.

One More Nine Inch Nails Concert!

We started driving toward LA on Wednesday night (11 hour drive). Made a pit stop in Vegas to our favorite hotel New York New York. Amie played the slots and I ventured outside to take some black & white pictures.



This was our hotel for the night. Aiden didn't go, I took this picture after we got home



Thursday morning. Finally arrived in Santa Monica at 11am. I always forget how terrible the traffic is! We hung out in Santa Monica until 2pm and then headed to the Wiltern Theater.



Thursday night. Waited in line for about 2 hours to get wristbands. Waited in another line for about an hour to get inside the theater.



The show was awesome! We saw quite a few famous people there.. Adrianne Curry, Tony Hawk, Ron Jeremy, Penn Jillette, Rick Ruben..can't think of the rest. The show started at 9:15pm and at 12am they ended their first encore at which point I decided we better leave and get on the road. Unfortunately Amie's Uncle Bruce passed away on Sunday 09/06, We had to make it back in time for his Funeral at 1pm on Friday. So....we left LA at 12am on Friday and got home in time for the Funeral at 12:45 the same day. The show ending up going until 12:45am so good thing we got out of there when we did or we would have never made it home in time. Rest in peace Uncle Bruce.
