Camping

Our first camping trip! Camped out on Antelope Island. The thousands of biting gnats made life miserable but the actual camping part was awesome! I felt so bad for the kids getting bit all over their heads (we used a full can of bug spray that did no good). Luckily the bugs went away after it was dark and we got to do a little night time exploring.




Made bacon, eggs and hash browns for breakfast. Made a mental list of what we can do better for the next outing... #1. don't camp on Antelope Island.

Scooby Dooby Doooo!

I love finding stuff like this around the house. What's not in the picture is all the ripped and wrinkled pieces of toilet paper laying on the floor that apparently weren't good enough for Scooby. Must be Macie's obsessive compulsive personality disorder shining through!

Drive In

First time at the drive in movies this year. Went to see How To Train Your Dragon. Movie was awesome! Wish I would have seen the 3D version in a theater. Drive in is great for relaxing with kids in the car but it's not so great on sound or picture quality.

Easter Egg Hunt

Decided we'd do our own Easter egg hunt in the back yard this year. Seemed like a good idea at first but it just wasn't the same without any competition of other parents opening the eggs before kids have a chance to collect them. Now I'm not sure what to do next year.
