Air Show

It's time for the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base!






This is the look Macie gives stangers when they try to say hello.



The weather was perfect all day until it was time for the Thunderbirds... It started pouring rain and hail so we started running toward the car while occasionally looking over our shoulders at the Thunderbirds in action. How cool is it that they continued the show in a hail/rain storm! It was an awesome day!

Movie Night

The best way to see a movie with the kids!!



Apparently Aiden wasn't interested in UP! because he fell asleep 10 minutes into the movie.



We always take both cars so we're not crammed into one. This time Macie stayed in my car with me and Aiden stayed with Amie.

Logan, UT

Drove 45 minutes north to Logan for a weekend getaway. Started the day at Willow Park Zoo.



Even Macie has to occasionally spend 2 minutes in time out (Aiden gets 3 minutes)




Stayed at Sherwood Hills Resort for the night.




Although it was raining, we still managed to check out the resort property.




Swimming is always fun!



Ate dinner at Firehouse Pizzeria. The kids were loud!



There's a Mantua, UT! It was seriously named after Mantua, OH by some Mormon guy who used to live there. Crazy.

She Walks!!

I forgot to mention how Macie started walking this month! Well...maybe last month. Either way, I took this video on May 8th.

VEGAS....again

The NIN/JA concert (Nine Inch Nails & Jane's Addiction) with Uncle Evan in Las Vegas!! We were right up front on the floor!



Holy crap we ran into and talked with Rob Sheridan!! For 10 years he's been the creative mastermind behind NIN's artwork, photography, website design, tour productions, video directing/producing, etc... What a perfect way to end the NIN era for me!

Easter Egg Hunt

Not sure why Macie always as a miserable look on her face so I thought I'd give it a try myself.


All fun and games while we wait for the countdown.


Focus and determination is what fills up a basket with 8 plastic eggs! It's great how parents scramble and push to open as many eggs as possible looking for that 10% off Sizzler coupon and then leaving the open egg on the ground with the unwanted candy in the grass. Maybe next year they can have a separate easter egg hunt for the poor white trash parents.

Antelope Island

Antelope Island is always a fun quick visit. It's the biggest island in the Great Salt Lake with all kinds of animals roaming around. I didn't feel like taking pictures so I gave the camera to Aiden and left him in charge of picture taking. The following are 6 out of the 200 that he took.

Living Planet Aquarium

The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy may not be the biggest but it's cheap and serves the purpose of entertaining the kids!

Oddity Faire

Went to Les Claypool's "The Oddity Faire" concert (he's most known for being the lead singer of Primus). I went to see Saul Williams and was able to finally meet him!! It was so cool! I didn't know much about Les Claypool but as he was playing I soon realized how badass he really was! Awesome concert
