I forgot to mention how Macie started walking this month! Well...maybe last month. Either way, I took this video on May 8th.

VEGAS....again

The NIN/JA concert (Nine Inch Nails & Jane's Addiction) with Uncle Evan in Las Vegas!! We were right up front on the floor!



Holy crap we ran into and talked with Rob Sheridan!! For 10 years he's been the creative mastermind behind NIN's artwork, photography, website design, tour productions, video directing/producing, etc... What a perfect way to end the NIN era for me!

Easter Egg Hunt

Not sure why Macie always as a miserable look on her face so I thought I'd give it a try myself.


All fun and games while we wait for the countdown.


Focus and determination is what fills up a basket with 8 plastic eggs! It's great how parents scramble and push to open as many eggs as possible looking for that 10% off Sizzler coupon and then leaving the open egg on the ground with the unwanted candy in the grass. Maybe next year they can have a separate easter egg hunt for the poor white trash parents.

Antelope Island

Antelope Island is always a fun quick visit. It's the biggest island in the Great Salt Lake with all kinds of animals roaming around. I didn't feel like taking pictures so I gave the camera to Aiden and left him in charge of picture taking. The following are 6 out of the 200 that he took.

Living Planet Aquarium

The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy may not be the biggest but it's cheap and serves the purpose of entertaining the kids!

Oddity Faire

Went to Les Claypool's "The Oddity Faire" concert (he's most known for being the lead singer of Primus). I went to see Saul Williams and was able to finally meet him!! It was so cool! I didn't know much about Les Claypool but as he was playing I soon realized how badass he really was! Awesome concert

What a long day. Amie's doing great and the surgery went well even though it pushed passed 4 hours. Luckily Amie's Mom offered to keep the kids overnight. You can already tell a big difference and I can't wait to post pictures!

Tuck

It's midnight. Can't sleep. After a few years of discussion, Amie's finally getting her tummy tuck tomorrow at 11:00am. And now the most commonly questions asked are answered.

How much? $8100.

How are you paying for it? Used tax return to pay off our car and got another loan.

Can't you just work out? Have been working out for over a year. it's not working.

How bad can it be? Judge for yourself when I post the before pictures.

Are you done having kids? Yes. We have a boy and a girl and that's all we want.

How long is the surgery? 3 to 3 1/2 hours

Are you scared? Yes. At this point Amie is wide awake and feels like she's going to throw up.

Are you excited? No for the process. Yes for the results.
